Our newest undergraduate initiative, Living Service, seeks to provide university students with challenging civic engagement opportunities while addressing the needs of nearby communities. Our goal is to promote ongoing relationships between college residents and community organizations throughout the academic year.
By participating in Living Service, each student will:
This year, the Living Service Initiative is being piloted exclusively by Butler College. Themed “Building Communities,” service activities will be offered in one or more of the following categories:
All students are invited and encouraged to attend programming organized by Butler during the evenings of September 16 - 19. Sign-ups for Friday or Saturday service trips will be available.
